<p><b>NORMAL REQUIREMENTS: </b></p> <p>Applicants are required to:</p> <p></p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education, and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic education</li> </ul> <ul> <li>&nbsp;demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children</li> </ul> <ul> <li>have experience in a formally appointed leadership role within a Catholic parish primary school e.g. Principal, Deputy Principal, Religious Education Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, Acting Principal</li> </ul> <ul> <li>have current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching</li> </ul> <ul> <li>have academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s degree or five year equivalent)</li> </ul> <ul> <li>have relevant, appropriate and substantial educational experience, including classroom teaching and leadership positions, in a variety of educational settings</li> </ul> <ul> <li>have relevant experience within the last five (5) years in Catholic parish primary schools,</li> </ul> <ul> <li>or currently in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b>N.B</b>. <i>Applicants teaching in parish primary schools prior to 1977 are exempt from this last requirement. </i></p> <p><br></p>
