<p>We are seeking a safe, reliable and friendly Bus Driver to support the daily operations of our school transport services. The Bus Driver plays a vital role in ensuring students and staff travel safely, comfortably and in alignment with the values of Catholic Education.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Safely transport students along designated routes in the morning and afternoon.</li> <li>Ensure the bus is well maintained, clean, and in safe working condition.</li> <li>Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the Transport Coordinator.</li> <li>Adhere to all road safety regulations and College policies.</li> <li>Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.</li> <li>Assist students with safe boarding and exiting of the bus, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident reports.</li> <li>Support College activities by providing transportation for excursions, sporting events, and other trips as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;About You</strong></p> <p>You will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Professional integrity and reliability.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li> <li>Strong communication skills across diverse groups.</li> <li>Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.</li> </ul> <p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p> <p>We demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.</p>
