<p><strong>The Role:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Receptionist reports to the Business Manager and is responsible for the efficient operation of the main reception. This primarily involves attending to enquiries at the general and student receptions and answering telephone enquiries. The role requires a person with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to promote a positive approach to anyone that contacts the College both in person and over the telephone. Also, the role requires a person that can work under pressure but at the same time remain composed in dealing with the Loyola community and the public.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain up to date knowledge and awareness of school events and activities.</li> <li>Provide reception services, including general and student reception coverage as required.</li> <li>Manage incoming telephone calls, enquiries and messages, ensuring timely and professional responses.</li> <li>Record student late arrivals and early departures.</li> <li>Undertake general administrative duties, including typing, photocopying, filing and document preparation.</li> <li>Support reception and administrative staff to ensure efficient daily operations.</li> <li>Manage incoming and outgoing mail.</li> <li>Administer student permissions through Consent2Go.</li> <li>Coordinate the ordering and management of office stationery supplies.</li> <li>Prepare, print, envelope and distribute whole-school correspondence.</li> <li>Maintain office emails, including forwarding to the intended recipients.</li> <li>Perform other administrative duties as directed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p> <p>At Loyola College, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
