Full-time Permanent, commencing Term 1 2027 (1.0 FTE)</p> <p>2. Part-time Temporary, commencing Term 1 2027 (0.6 FTE)</p> <p><strong>Core Requirements:</strong></p> <p>Applicants for the position of PDHPE Teacher must demonstrate at a minimum that they:</p> <ul> <li>are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Bible-based Evangelical Church.</li> <li>support the College’s vision of holistic Christian education.</li> <li>conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College community.</li> <li>have the ability to teach across Stages 4-5 of the NESA PDHPE Syllabuses to ensure that the College provides quality education to students.</li> <li>have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.</li> <li>have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.</li> <li>holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).</li> <li>are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.</li> <li>work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.</li> <li>experience teaching Stage 6 would be highly regarded.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong><br> The PDHPE Teacher should:</p> <ul> <li>provide effective and innovative teaching practices for teaching PDHPE, reflecting the Christian ethos of the College, ensuring a high standard of outcomes for all students.</li> <li>manage curriculum requirements for their classes, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting.</li> <li>manage student issues arising from their classes using the College’s positive behaviour framework and implementing relevant College protocols.</li> <li>implement College protocols and strategies.</li> <li>provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group.</li> <li>support co-curricular activities of the College.</li> </ul>
