The School currently enrols 242 students Including satellite classes and further growth in these classes is anticipated. All students are supported by a dedicated team of teachers, teacher's aides, therapists, and creative artists. St Lucy’s caters to a broad range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities (mild to severe), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and sensory impairments.</p> <p>St Lucy’s fosters a love of learning, respect for aesthetics, and the Gospel values of truth, justice, inclusion, and joy. Pastoral care extends to families, offering both structured and individual support<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to work two days per week on a Monday and Tuesday during term-time only. This is a temporary parental leave role due to cease at the end of Term 1, 2027.</p> <p>The role of the Speech Pathologist at St Lucy’s School is to support the development of student’s communication and language acquisition in all school contexts.&nbsp; They also support the development of student’s social engagement and skills.&nbsp; The role assists students to participate in the curriculum to the best of their ability.
