Working closely with the Principal, leadership team and administration staff, the successful applicant will bring strong financial administration skills, attention to detail and a professional and collaborative approach.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>The Administration Officer (Finance) will be responsible for a broad range of financial and administrative functions, including:</p> <ul> <li>Management and reconciliation of school fees and levies</li> <li>Accounts payable and supplier payments</li> <li>Staff reimbursements and financial transactions</li> <li>Payroll administration and associated staff records</li> <li>CSEF and other family financial assistance processes</li> <li>Financial reconciliations and reporting</li> <li>Budget and expenditure tracking</li> <li>Enrolment and financial data reconciliation</li> <li>Census and audit preparation</li> <li>MACS financial and administrative reporting</li> <li>End-of-financial-year financial processes</li> <li>Supporting families and staff with financial and administrative enquiries</li> </ul> <p>The role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet important deadlines.</p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>We are looking for someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Has demonstrated experience in finance administration or a similar role</li> <li>Has excellent organisational and time management skills</li> <li>Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>Is confident working with financial information and administrative systems</li> <li>Has strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills</li> <li>Can manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately</li> <li>Is able to work independently while contributing positively to a team</li> <li>Is flexible, adaptable and willing to support the broader needs of the school</li> <li>Has strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace</li> <li>Understands and supports the mission and ethos of Catholic education</li> <li>Has experience working in a school or educational environment, which would be highly desirable</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why join St Margaret’s?</strong></p> <p>At St Margaret’s, we value the contribution every staff member makes to our school community.
