<p>Are you a highly organised, personable and enthusiastic administrator who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment? Would you enjoy playing a central role in the daily life of a vibrant Catholic primary school?</p>
<p>St Thomas More's Catholic School is seeking a skilled and motivated Administration Officer to join our welcoming and supportive school community.</p>
<p>This is a varied and rewarding position in which no two days are quite the same. Working closely with the Principal, Finance Officer and administration team, you will help coordinate the daily operations of our school, support students and families, contribute to school communications and play an important role in bringing our school community together.</p>
<p><strong>POSITION DETAILS</strong></p>
<p><strong>Commencement: </strong>Monday 26th October, 2026 (negotiable)</p>
<p><strong>Tenure: </strong>Ongoing, 37.62 hours per week (0,87 FTE), 42 weeks per year</p>
<p><strong>Hours of Work: </strong>Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (days and hours negotiable)</p>
<p><strong>Classification: </strong>Business Services, Level 3</p>
<p><strong>Remuneration: </strong><i>$75,530–$83,195</i> full-year equivalent, pro rata for 42 weeks per year, plus 12% superannuation</p>
<p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>As our Administration Officer, you will enjoy a diverse range of responsibilities, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing high-quality administrative support to the Principal and coordinating the daily operations of the school office.</li>
<li>Welcoming and supporting students, families, staff and visitors.</li>
<li>Coordinating Kindergarten enrolments, school events and important administrative processes.</li>
<li>Contributing creatively to our school communications, including the newsletter, website and social media.</li>
<li>Providing guidance and support to our administration team and working collaboratively with school leadership.</li>
<li>Supporting the School Advisory Board and assisting with financial, facilities and administrative matters.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for someone who is approachable, adaptable and passionate about providing exceptional service. You will bring strong organisational and communication skills, initiative, discretion and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a calm and positive approach.</p>
<p>Previous administration experience is essential, and experience in a school or similar community-focused environment would be an advantage.</p>
<p>Most importantly, you will share our commitment to Catholic Education and understand the value of building positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.</p>
