The successful applicant will be required to teach Visual Arts in Stages 4, 5 and 6. These facilities are part of the Integrated Studies Precinct, which contains the teaching spaces for the Faculty of Technology and Creative Design, the Faculty of Mathematics, and the Faculty of Science.</p> <p>Candidates for this role will be required to demonstrate:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>a passion for teaching and a deep knowledge of the syllabus documents in Visual Arts;&nbsp;</li> <li>a particular passion for Visual Arts, including your own practice;&nbsp;</li> <li>an innovative approach to teaching and learning;&nbsp;</li> <li>an understanding of and commitment to student well-being;&nbsp;</li> <li>well-developed written, oral and organisational skills;</li> <li>a comprehensive understanding of classroom differentiation;&nbsp;</li> <li>a commitment to detailed and timely feedback to students; and,</li> <li>a deep understanding of how students think and learn.</li> </ul> <p>The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate innovative use of ICT in teaching and learning, proficiency in writing teaching programmes, and an understanding of best practices in student assessment and feedback.
