Director: Teaching & Learning Position of Leadership (POL) PoL: Tenure - 3 years Contract position: 2027–2029

<p>The College is seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for the following position:&nbsp;</p> <p>1.0FTE - Ongoing Teaching position incorporating a Limited Tenure Position of Leadership (PoL)</p> <p><br><strong>DIRECTOR: TEACHING &amp; LEARNING</strong></p> <p>Director PoL - Limited Tenure: 3 year contract<br> Contract position: 2027–2029</p> <p>Position commences: Term 1 2027 (Monday, 1 February 2025)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Teaching and Learning to join our Secondary Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in strengthening teaching practice and improving learning outcomes for our students.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an educational leader who is deeply committed to student growth, teacher development and a culture of continuous improvement. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with Faculty Leaders, teachers, College Leadership, students and families to ensure that high-quality teaching and learning remains at the heart of our College.</p> <p>The Director of Teaching and Learning will provide strategic and instructional leadership across the Secondary grades, supporting the development of consistent, evidence informed teaching practices that engage and challenge students.</p> <p>A genuine commitment to the philosophy and aims of Catholic Education and a willingness to participate in the life of the school is essential and candidates will:</p> <ul> <li>Be able to articulate a general commitment to Catholic Education</li> <li>Have appropriate qualifications for the position</li> <li>Hold current WWVP employment registration</li> <li>Hold current registration to teach in Tasmania</li> </ul> <p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p> <p>We demonstrate our commitment to Reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.</p> <p>An Application Package containing full details for each position can be accessed via the links below.
