Good Shepherd Lutheran School is looking for enthusiastic <strong>OSHC Educators to join its Imagination OSHC team&nbsp;</strong>in Para Vista. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators, those currently studying a relevant qualification, or people looking to build their experience working with school-aged children.</p> <p><strong>Good Shepherd</strong> is an Early Learning to Year 6 school and part of a network of more than 85 Lutheran schools across Australia. Its Imagination OSHC Service is located on-site and is an important part of the wider school community, providing before-school, after-school and vacation care for children from Foundation to Year 6.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p> <p>Working alongside the OSHC team, you’ll help create an engaging, welcoming and safe environment where children can relax, have fun and connect.</p> <p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Help plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities&nbsp;</li> <li>Support children with additional needs to participate fully in the program&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with the day-to-day running of before-school, after-school and vacation care&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop positive, professional relationships with children, families, staff, and the broader school community</li> <li>Adhere to the School’s policies and procedures, including food handling, child protection, and safety standards</li> <li>Foster an environment where children feel safe, valued, and included, aligned with the school’s vision and values</li> <li>Help maintain a safe, caring and inclusive environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Complete required records and follow relevant child safety, food handling and school procedures.&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the OSHC centre, ensuring all activities align with Good Shepherd Lutheran School’s Vision, Values, and Learning Principles</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>Most importantly, you’ll genuinely enjoy working with children and bring a positive, encouraging and approachable attitude to each shift.</p> <p><strong>You will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A qualification for working with children over preschool age in South Australia&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with children 6 – 12 years old</li> <li>Current Working with Children Check</li> <li>Food Handling Training (desirable)</li> <li>First Aid in Educational and Child Care Setting (desirable)</li> <li>RAN (Responding to Abuse and Neglect) training</li> <li>Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, and communication skills</li> <li>Proven ability to develop positive professional relationships with students, staff and parents</li> <li>Passion to support all students to achieve their potential</li> <li>Flexible casual shifts – work mornings, afternoons or a combination&nbsp;</li> <li>Perfect for students studying education, teaching or a related field&nbsp;</li> <li>Join a supportive and collaborative school community&nbsp;</li> <li>Gain valuable hands-on experience working with children aged 6–12&nbsp;</li> <li>Make a genuine difference by helping children feel safe, included and valued&nbsp;</li> <li>Receive ongoing support from school staff across leadership, compliance and inclusion&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>For more information and to apply click on this link <a href="https://au.seek.com/job/94548436?ref=cm-ui" rel="nofollow">https://au.seek.com/job/94548436?ref=cm-ui</a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
