The Armidale School (TAS) is seeking a practical, enthusiastic, and collaborative teacher to join our Technology and Applied Studies team in 2027. This is a 0.6 FTE fixed-term position for the 2027 school year, teaching VET Hospitality, with the opportunity to also teach Textiles.

<p><strong>Teacher – VET Hospitality / Textiles</strong><br><strong>0.6 FTE | Fixed Term | 2027 School Year | Armidale, NSW</strong></p> <p>The Armidale School (TAS) is seeking a practical, enthusiastic, and collaborative teacher to join our Technology and Applied Studies team in 2027. This is a&nbsp;0.6 FTE fixed-term position for the 2027 school year, teaching VET Hospitality, with the opportunity to also teach Textiles. VET Hospitality is delivered through our Trade Training Centre, providing students with practical skills and learning that connect with industry and life beyond school.</p> <p>You will teach students across Years 7–12 and work as part of a supportive faculty to plan and deliver engaging lessons for students with different abilities, interests, and learning styles. A qualification and experience in VET Hospitality are required, while Textiles teaching experience would be an advantage but is not essential. We are looking for someone who enjoys practical teaching, works well with others, and is willing to contribute ideas and new approaches to learning, including the use of technology.</p> <p>At TAS, teaching extends beyond the classroom. Our teachers contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the School, building strong relationships with students through sport, outdoor education, activities, excursions, House events and other opportunities. You will be part of a professional community that values&nbsp;Connection, Courage and Commitment, and encourages staff to work collaboratively, reflect on their practice and contribute to the broader life of the School.</p> <p>TAS is a co-educational Anglican boarding and day school of around 670 students, including more than 220 boarders.
