In this role, you will lead and coordinate a vibrant and inclusive sport program that promotes participation, skill development, wellbeing and pathways to excellence for students in Years 3-6.

<p>Working closely with the Director of Sport and broader school community, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality sporting opportunities while fostering a positive culture of teamwork, sportsmanship and engagement. This position includes a substantive teaching load across Years 3 to 6 and the ability to teach across a range of primary curriculum areas will be highly regarded</p> <p>This permanent, full time teaching position with additional Position of Responsibility commences Term 1 2027. The key responsibilities are to:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and coordinate the Year 3-6 sport and physical education program.</li> <li>Oversee interschool sport, SAPSASA participation and co-curricular sporting opportunities.</li> <li>Support, mentor and coordinate coaches to ensure a high-quality student experience.</li> <li>Coordinate sporting fixtures, training schedules, facilities and equipment requirements.</li> <li>Build strong relationships with students, families, staff and external providers.</li> <li>Promote student participation, achievement and wellbeing through sport and physical activity.</li> <li>Teach students in Years 3-6, contributing positively to learning, engagement and academic growth.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly across Years 3-6.</li> <li>Experience coordinating sporting programs, teams or co-curricular activities.</li> <li>A passion for sport, physical education and the holistic development of young people.</li> <li>The ability to teach across a range of primary curriculum learning areas.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li> <li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, families and colleagues.</li> <li>Proven leadership capability, initiative and a collaborative approach to teamwork.</li> <li>A commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and professional growth.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p> <p>Applications for this position close <strong>Tuesday 15 September 2026&nbsp;however early applications are encouraged</strong>.
