Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) is seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join the organisation as an Inclusive Education (Learning Adjustment Behaviour/Academic) Officer. This role provides an exciting opportunity to support school leaders to strengthen inclusive education practices, improve student outcomes, and build capability across DOSCEL.

<p><strong>Catholic Identity, Leadership, Learning and Teaching</strong><br><strong>DOSCEL Office</strong></p> <p>Working closely with the Chief Learning and Teaching Officer through the Team Coordinator: Learning Adjustment, the successful applicant will support schools to create inclusive learning environments, implement effective learning adjustments, strengthen behaviour support practices, and ensure all students can access high-quality learning opportunities.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>As the Inclusive Education (Learning Adjustment Behaviour/Academic) Officer, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Build the capacity of school leaders to create inclusive school environments and cultures.</li> <li>Support schools to implement DOSCEL’s Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour Support (WSAPBS).</li> <li>Support implementation of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0 and strengthen student learning entitlement.</li> <li>Use evidence and data to inform leader and teacher practice.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with DOSCEL Office personnel and schools to support strategic and annual improvement priorities.</li> <li>Provide expert advice, coaching, mentoring and professional learning to school leaders and teachers.</li> <li>Support schools to provide appropriate learning adjustments for students.</li> <li>Deliver services consistent with the DOSCEL Expert Teacher Framework.</li> <li>Prepare reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Diocese.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You will bring:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in inclusive education, learning adjustment and supporting diverse student learning needs.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in implementing evidence-based behaviour support practices.</li> <li>The ability to build the capability of school leaders and teachers through coaching, mentoring and professional learning.</li> <li>Experience using evidence-based approaches to improve student outcomes.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.</li> <li>Sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0 and contemporary inclusive education practices.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.</li> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and current VIT registration.</li> </ul> <p>Experience within Catholic education and postgraduate qualifications relevant to inclusive education, learning diversity, or educational leadership will be highly regarded.</p> <p><strong>Why join DOSCEL?</strong></p> <p>At DOSCEL, we are committed to creating vibrant and inclusive learning communities where every student is known, valued, and supported to achieve their full potential.</p> <p>This role offers the opportunity to work alongside school leaders across the Diocese and make a meaningful impact on student learning, engagement and wellbeing.</p> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p> <p>For further information regarding this opportunity, please contact the Human Resources team via <a href="mailto:talent@doscel.catholic.edu.au?subject=Inclusive%20Education%20%28Learning%20Adjustment%20Behaviour%2FAcademic%29%20Officer%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29" rel="nofollow">talent@doscel.catholic.edu.au</a></p> <p>For a copy of the position description and to apply, please visit <a href="https://www.ceosale.catholic.edu.au/work-with-us/positions-vacant" rel="nofollow">DOSCEL Website</a>.
