<p>Navigator College, a leading independent school in Port Lincoln, South Australia, is seeking a dedicated and passionate&nbsp;<strong>Japanese Language Teacher</strong>&nbsp;to join our dynamic team in a part-time (approximately 0.50 FTE) fixed-term position commencing in Term 1 2027.</p> <p>Navigator College seeks to attract passionate and innovative staff to partner with our team, our students and our families in shaping the future of education in Port Lincoln, whilst upholding the Christian ethos of a Lutheran School.</p> <p>Navigator College offers dedicated mentorship, and professional development opportunities to support you during every stage of your teaching journey at the College.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>Be an educator with passion, experience, enthusiasm and dedication for the profession</li> <li>Have the interpersonal skills to work as a cooperative member of a team</li> <li>Develop positive relationships with students, staff and families</li> <li>Support students in developing skills for personal responsibility and resilience</li> <li>Have sound knowledge and demonstrated success in applying an inquiry based approach to teaching and learning</li> <li>Have a commitment to ongoing professional development</li> <li>Have a comprehensive knowledge of and experience in teaching specific subject disciplines, in this case Language, Japanese.</li> <li>Above all, want to work at developing an exciting atmosphere in an innovative College.</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will be employed in the College to take responsibility for the provision of the learning program within their allocated class/classes, along with all other responsibilities expected of a Middle/Senior School teacher.&nbsp;</p>
