The School may interview and appoint a suitable candidate before the closing date, therefore the position may be filled prior to the advertised deadline.)</strong></p> <p>We are seeking passionate, innovative and relational <strong>Middle School Teachers&nbsp;</strong>who are committed to delivering high-quality learning programmes and providing intentional pastoral care within a supportive Christian school community.</p> <p>The successful applicants will <strong>teach across one or more Middle School learning areas,</strong> including English, HASS, Mathematics, Science, Health, Scripture, Design and Digital Technologies, and/or The Arts. They will design engaging, hands-on and inquiry-based learning experiences, while nurturing the wellbeing, character, faith formation and sense of belonging of students in Years 7–9.</p> <p>This role would suit teachers who have a sincere and active Christian faith, a passion for Christian education, and a desire to be part of a warm, collaborative and family-like Middle School team culture where colleagues encourage, support and value one another.</p> <p>As a <strong>Middle School Teacher,</strong> you will:   </p> <ul> <li>Teach one or more relevant curriculum areas in alignment with the Australian Curriculum for Years 7–9 (such as English, HASS, Mathematics, Science, Health, Scripture, Design &amp; Digital Technologies and/or The Arts).</li> <li>Provide intentional pastoral care and leadership for Middle School students, building a safe, connected, and Christ-centred classroom community where students feel known and valued.</li> <li>Design engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, active participation, and a love for learning, employing a range of teaching strategies, including explicit instruction, inquiry-based learning, practical hands-on activities, and digital tools.</li> <li>Inspire students to think critically, reflect deeply, and grow in their capacity to collaborate and persevere.</li> <li>Outwork passion for Christian education and the integration of a Christian biblical worldview into curriculum and pedagogy.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential qualities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A sincere, active and dynamic faith in Jesus Christ, expressed authentically in teaching, pastoral care, relationships and teamwork.</li> <li>Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the SA Teacher Registration Board.</li> <li>Experience teaching Middle School students in one or more relevant curriculum areas.</li> <li>Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.</li> <li>Ability to build rapport with Middle School students and support their holistic wellbeing.</li> <li>A commitment to engaging, differentiated and developmentally appropriate learning.</li> <li>Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and families in a warm and supportive team environment.</li> </ul> <p>Applicants are required to have a sincere commitment to Jesus Christ, a philosophy of Christian Education and regular church attendance.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT TYNDALE GROUP OF CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS:</strong></p> <p>Tyndale Christian School is a co-educational, independent, inter-denominational school.
