Guided by our Touchstones of Gospel Spirituality, Liberating Education, Inclusive Community and Justice and Solidarity, we seek educators who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.</p> <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable, temporary full-time&nbsp;<strong>Primary Teacher (Stage 3)</strong> to join our college from <strong>Term 1, 2027.</strong></p> <p>We have a tremendous opportunity for an experienced and dedicated primary school educator adept at planning, teaching and critically reflecting on the effectiveness of education programs that develop literacy and numeracy across Key Learning Areas.&nbsp;</p> <p>You will be committed to the achievement of excellence as a classroom teacher, demonstrating thorough content knowledge, effective pedagogy and classroom management, and strong collaboration skills.</p> <p>To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate you satisfy all of the following selection criteria:</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>A working understanding of, and commitment to the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries&nbsp;that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.</li> <li>Primary teaching qualifications with&nbsp;NESA Accreditation&nbsp;and approval to teach in NSW.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated excellence as a Stage 3 classroom practitioner.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated success in differentiation of curriculum including implementation of effective literacy and assessment strategies.</li> <li>Demonstrated effective classroom management through clear expectations, proactive behaviour strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment.</li> <li>Ability to effectively incorporate ICT into teaching, learning, and assessment to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Postgraduate qualifications (in leadership, education, religious education or theology).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <p>At St Patrick's College, you will join a thriving Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition, educating more than 1,630 boys across Years 5–12.</p> <p>Our Primary School is a vibrant and nurturing learning community committed to fostering academic excellence, wellbeing and faith formation.
