<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>The Careers Adviser plays a pivotal role in helping students make informed decisions about their future pathways, including subject selection, tertiary study, vocational education and employment opportunities. Working closely with students, families, staff and external partners, the successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support that empowers young women to transition confidently from school into further education, training and employment.</p>

<p>Key responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver a comprehensive careers education program for students across Years 7-12.</li>
<li>Provide individual career counselling and pathway planning.</li>
<li>Guide students through senior subject selection and post-school options.</li>
<li>Support university applications, including UAC processes, including EAS and SRS applications.</li>
<li>Coordinate career expos, information evenings, workplace exposure opportunities and industry engagement activities.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong partnerships with universities, TAFE providers, employers, training organisations and community groups.</li>
<li>A teaching load will be a part of this role. </li>

<p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>A commitment to supporting young people in exploring and achieving their future aspirations.</li>
<li>Appropriate teaching qualifications and current teacher accreditation, or eligibility for accreditation, in NSW.</li>
<li>Experience in secondary school careers environment and familiarity with HSC, UAC, VET, apprenticeships and traineeships </li>
<li>Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional organisational and administrative capabilities.</li>
<li>The ability to provide impartial, student-centred advice while respecting individual circumstances and aspirations.</li>
