<p>Applications are invited for the following<strong> fixed term positions</strong> at St Ita’s Catholic<br> Primary School, Drouin, commencing Monday 15th September 2026 and concluding on the 31st December 2026 :<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>ESO - Learning Support - FTE 0.32, 2 days per week, 8.45am - 3.15pm (2 positions available)</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>The successful applicant/s will:</li> <li>be supportive of the Catholic Ethos</li> <li>be responsible for providing physical, emotional and educational support to<br> students with special needs in various levels throughout the school</li> <li>assist students in specified learning areas and tasks, either individually or in a<br> group;</li> <li>be confident in using de-escalation strategies when required</li> <li>liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs</li> <li>support social interaction and development with children at recess and lunch</li> <li>possess very good interpersonal and organisational skills</li> <li>have the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team</li> <li>&nbsp;have a current Working with Children Check</li> <li>hold a Certificate / Diploma in Education Support</li> <li>supply contact details of three referees.</li> </ul> <p>This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in<br> our care.</p>
