<p>We are seeking to make a priority appointment for an exceptional Early Learning Educator who is proficient in Chinese and passionate about fostering an appreciation of language and culture in young children. As part of our highly regarded independent school community, you will play a key role in delivering our bilingual program, supporting children aged 3 to 5 years to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Applicants with demonstrated Chinese language capability, cultural knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in early childhood education will be strongly preferred.</p>

<p><strong>Essential criteria:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and Care</li>
<li>Fluency in Chinese, with strong understanding of the culture</li>
<li>Demonstrated integrity and attitudes consistent with child‑safe values</li>
<li>Sound understanding of child safety responsibilities, including current knowledge of relevant child protection legislation and the Child Safe Standards</li>
<li>Understanding of and willingness to fulfil mandatory reporting and escalation obligations in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures</li>
<li>National Child Safety Training certificate of completion</li>
<li>Commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of child protection obligations and professional responsibilities</li>
<li>Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications or willingness to obtain</li>
<li>Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtain</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of early childhood education and care legislation and regulations, including the EYLF and NQS</li>
<li>Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their families</li>
<li>Self‑motivation, initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team</li>
<li>Sound ICT skills</li>
<li>Availability to work between 7.20am and 6.10pm on the ELC roster (regular shift times provided) </li>
<li>Not subject to any restrictions or prohibitions, including suspension, supervision or prohibition notices, or enforceable undertakings.</li>
