<p>Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School in the Lasallian tradition, located in Castle Hill, NSW. The College has an enrolment of approximately 2,250 students, with boys in Years 7 to 10 and a co-educational setting in Years 11 and 12. <p><strong>The role</strong></p>
<p>Oakhill College seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our passionate team of educators.<br>
In the role of a Science Teacher, you be will be responsible for fostering our students' passion for science by nurturing their inquisitive minds within the educational context of science.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the areas listed below: </p>
<p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to teach Physics and Chemistry.</li>
<li>Deliverying comprehensive Science education to students in Stages 4 - 5.</li>
<li>Planning and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies.</li>
<li>Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning.</li>
<li>Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages is preferred but not essential.</li>
<li>Working collaboratively in an Science Faculty.</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.</li>
<li>Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.</li>
<li>The ability to teach an additional subject be highly desirable</li>
</ul>
