<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>As a <strong>Wellbeing Partner</strong>, you will work closely with principals and school teams to support effective, student-centred decision-making that promotes student wellbeing, engagement, learning and growth.</p>
<p>Drawing on your expertise in student wellbeing, behaviour support, attendance, safeguarding and educational support, you will provide professional guidance, coaching and collaborative case support that strengthens school capability and confidence.</p>
<p>This specialist advisory role works in partnership with schools to build consistent wellbeing practices, support complex student matters and ensure schools are equipped to respond with care, professionalism and evidence-informed approaches.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with principals and school teams to support informed, student-centred decision-making that places students and families at the heart of every response.</li>
<li>Provide specialist advice and guidance in complex matters relating to student wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and enrolment considerations.</li>
<li>Contribute to collaborative case management and multidisciplinary responses that support positive outcomes for students.</li>
<li>Support schools through professional guidance, coaching and mentoring that builds capability, confidence and consistency of practice.</li>
<li>Design and deliver professional learning that strengthens wellbeing practices across schools.</li>
<li>Provide advice on relevant legislative, policy and compliance requirements relating to student wellbeing and duty of care.</li>
<li>Respond to school requests for support in a manner that promotes shared responsibility, transparency and care.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality documentation in accordance with system, legislative and safeguarding requirements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Wellbeing, Disability and Learning teams to ensure coordinated support for schools.</li>
<li>Contribute professional insights, trends and data to support system planning and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>In Addition, as a Wellbeing Partner You Will</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide specialist wellbeing expertise to assist schools in responding to complex student needs.</li>
<li>Support principals and school leaders to navigate challenging behaviour, attendance and wellbeing concerns.</li>
<li>Facilitate collaborative and coordinated responses involving families, schools and external agencies where required.</li>
<li>Develop practical resources, guidance materials and frameworks that strengthen student wellbeing practices across the system.</li>
<li>Coach school leaders and staff to build sustainable wellbeing approaches that enhance student engagement and belonging.</li>
<li>Support schools to implement evidence-informed strategies that promote positive behaviour, participation and inclusion.</li>
<li>Contribute to the ongoing development of system-wide wellbeing policies, procedures and best-practice approaches.</li>
<li>Promote consistency in student wellbeing practices across schools while recognising local context and needs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You are a knowledgeable and relationship-focused professional with specialist expertise in student wellbeing and a genuine commitment to supporting schools to create safe, inclusive and thriving learning environments.</p>
<p>You will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated expertise in student wellbeing, behaviour support, mental health, student engagement or a related specialist area.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policy frameworks and compliance requirements within education settings.</li>
<li>Experience supporting principals, school leaders and staff through professional guidance, coaching and mentoring.</li>
<li>Proven ability to contribute to complex case management and multidisciplinary responses.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of factors impacting student wellbeing, attendance, engagement and learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.</li>
<li>Sound professional judgement and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations with confidence and discretion.</li>
<li>Strong organisational, documentation and record-keeping skills.</li>
<li>Experience working within schools, education systems or related human services environments.</li>
<li>Qualifications in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Youth Work, Behaviour Support or a related discipline.</li>
