The role also involves grounds keeping and occasional bus driving. You will work collaboratively, contributing to a school culture grounded in Catholic values and the mission of Catholic Education Tasmania.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, skilled individual who enjoys a varied workload and thrives in a supportive, community-focused environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform general building, grounds, and vehicle maintenance</li> <li>Maintain and care for school vehicles, including cleaning and minor servicing</li> <li>Set up for events and support emergency drills such as lockdowns and evacuations</li> <li>Maintain hand tools, power tools, and manage chemical usage safely</li> <li>Ensure grounds and facilities are clean, orderly, and safe</li> <li>Contribute to the school’s maintenance and safety planning and documentation</li> <li>Actively participate in team collaboration and professional development</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You are a reliable and self-motivated professional with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You demonstrate integrity, initiative, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment.
