<ul> <li>Lead and shape a high performing Maths curriculum from 7-12</li> <li>Influence educational practice through curriculum innovation</li> <li>Broaden your people leadership impact</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced&nbsp;Years 7-12 Curriculum Leader&nbsp;-Mathematics&nbsp;to join our&nbsp;Secondary Years&nbsp;team.&nbsp;Commencing in January 2027,&nbsp;this middle leadership position&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;the strategic direction,&nbsp;delivery&nbsp;and continuous improvement of the&nbsp;Mathematics&nbsp;curriculum across Years 7-12, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and strong student achievement.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Working closely with school leaders and teaching staff, you will lead curriculum development, support contemporary pedagogical practice, and foster a collaborative, future-focused culture that reflects the College's commitment to excellence in Christian co-education.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as an exemplary and humane leader of teaching and learning, setting high professional standards, modelling them for others and communicating with clarity and diplomacy.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead and develop Mathematics teachers across Years 7-12, fostering a collaborative and high-performing department. &nbsp;</li> <li>Drive curriculum planning, implementation,&nbsp;review&nbsp;and compliance with QCAA, ACARA and other relevant curriculum requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Promote evidence-informed teaching practices that enhance student engagement,&nbsp;achievement&nbsp;and wellbeing.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee assessment, moderation,&nbsp;reporting&nbsp;and quality assurance processes across the department.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Analyse student performance data to inform curriculum decisions and improve learning outcomes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage departmental resources, budgets,&nbsp;communications&nbsp;and strategic initiatives aligned with&nbsp;College&nbsp;priorities.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>A recognised teaching qualification and current Queensland College of Teachers registration, or eligibility for registration.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;in secondary Mathematics curriculum,&nbsp;assessment&nbsp;and pedagogy across Years 7-12.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven leadership experience with the ability to build capability, improve&nbsp;performance and support professional growth in individuals and teams.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, evaluate outcomes and drive continuous improvement. &nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, parents&nbsp;and external stakeholders.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience implementing systems, processes and quality assurance practices that support outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment to ongoing professional learning, exemplary personal integrity&nbsp;and professional conduct.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church&nbsp;located&nbsp;on 52 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD.
