LaSalle Catholic College is a 7-12 co-educational school featuring the Saint Yon Trade Training Centre, a high-quality vocational facility for senior students. Supporting the Principal and Assistant Principal, Saint Yon, our staff deliver high-quality, personalised learning while meeting students' educational, workplace, and pastoral needs. In this role, you will mentor and support a dedicated group of vocationally focused students.<br><br><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
The College is seeking a teacher to perform the role of Pathways Officer in which primary responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>supporting the marketing and enrolment efforts of the trade centre</li>
<li>supporting the Assistant Principal Saint Yon and the Industry Relationship Officer in their roles</li>
<li>processing and testing applications for external VET courses</li>
<li>overseeing award VET nominations.</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful applicant will:</p>
<ul>
<li>collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to build genuine and professional relationships and to promote shared commitment to providing vocational training opportunities to students</li>
<li>successfully integrate technology into everyday work activities</li>
<li>work effectively and cohesively with a team</li>
<li>demonstrate the capacity to communicate with parents, students and staff from LaSalle and our partner schools effectively</li>
<li>be committed to the Catholic ethos of the College and to the pastoral care of all members of the community</li>
<li>be qualified or prepared to qualify to deliver the Cert III in Business, Retail or another VET qualification</li>
<li>bring a tertiary in Education & NESA accreditation.</li>
