<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are currently seeking a Secondary School Science Teacher, who will be responsible for the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Teach Science classes across Years 7-12.</li>
<li>Expertise in one of the following is necessary; SACE Physics, SACE Psychology or 7-10 Mathematics.</li>
<li>Provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students.</li>
<li>Work in collaboration with other staff to ensure a distinctive Christian education by motivating, inspiring and aligning practice with the College Vision, Mission and Values.</li>
<li>Encourage students in a positive and supportive learning environment where student achievements are acknowledged.</li>
<li>If required, provide pastoral care for a Home Group, leading morning devotions in the Home Group as directed by the Principal - Secondary School.</li>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.</li>
<li>Demonstrated passion for Biblically-based Christian education.</li>
<li>An appropriate qualification in Teacher Education, ideally with a major in Secondary School Science subjects.</li>
<li>Appropriate qualification and training in safe laboratory practices.</li>
<li>Demonstrated passion and ability to teach students across Years 7-12.</li>
<li>A demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management.</li>
<li>Current Teachers’ Registration, valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), RRHAN-EC and First Aid certification.</li>
