The Assistant Head of School – Learning and Teaching is a dynamic member of the College Executive and works collaboratively with members of the Executive to develop and improve the academic programs and classroom pedagogies in the College. Pivotal in leading and managing change, inspiring innovation, promoting excellence and shaping the future direction of the College’s learning and teaching.

<p><strong>This Executive Leadership role is offered as an ongoing position commencing Monday, 4 January 2026. &nbsp;Applications close at 4:00pm on Wednesday 26 August 2026</strong></p> <p>The Assistant Head of School - Learning and Teaching is accountable and responsible to the Headmaster for leading, articulating and developing a vision for teaching and learning in the College.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Assistant Head of School – Learning and Teaching is a dynamic member of the College Executive and works collaboratively with members of the Executive to develop and improve the academic programs and classroom pedagogies in the College. The Assistant&nbsp;Head&nbsp;of&nbsp;School&nbsp;– Learning&nbsp;and&nbsp;Teaching is&nbsp;pivotal&nbsp;in&nbsp;leading&nbsp;and&nbsp;managing&nbsp;change, inspiring innovation, promoting excellence and shaping the future direction of the school’s learning and teaching.</p> <p>The Assistant Head of School - Learning and Teaching will be an exceptional educator and leader with a passion for teaching and learning, modelling creative pedagogies and curriculum innovation to inspire and guide others. They will be responsible for the facilitation of sound&nbsp;professional&nbsp;learning&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;to&nbsp;foster&nbsp;pedagogical&nbsp;reflection&nbsp;and&nbsp;change&nbsp;in&nbsp;teacher practices within the College. They will oversee and assist in offering professional learning opportunities for staff and formulate a strategy for cumulative evaluation.
