The successful applicant will play an important role in strengthening teaching excellence, supporting colleagues, driving curriculum innovation and enhancing student learning outcomes.</p> <p>Working collaboratively with the TAS Coordinator, the Assistant TAS Coordinator will contribute to:</p> <ul> <li>leading the implementation, review and continuous improvement of TAS curriculum across Years 5–12;</li> <li>fostering a culture of high expectations, collaboration and professional growth within the faculty;</li> <li>supporting excellence in teaching, learning, assessment and feedback through evidence-informed practice;</li> <li>mentoring and coaching colleagues through professional dialogue, collaboration and the sharing of exemplary practice;</li> <li>using student achievement data, educational research and evidence to inform faculty planning and improvement;</li> <li>supporting faculty organisation, planning and day-to-day operations;</li> <li>contributing to the implementation of the College's Strategic Plan and learning priorities; and</li> <li>supporting curriculum continuity between Stage 3 and secondary TAS programs as the College expands into Years 5 and 6.</li> </ul> <p><br> The successful applicant will play an important role in strengthening teaching excellence, fostering innovation in design and technology education, supporting colleagues and inspiring students through authentic, future-focused learning experiences.&nbsp;</p> <p>Further information about the position is available in the Position Description on the online application portal.<br><br><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will be an outstanding educator who is passionate about Technology and Applied Studies and committed to supporting Rosebank College's pursuit of excellence in teaching, learning and student wellbeing.</p> <p>As a member of staff, you will actively support the College's vision, mission and values while contributing positively to all aspects of College life.</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>extensive experience as a highly effective and innovative TAS teacher across Stages 4, 5 and 6;</li> <li>the capacity to support curriculum continuity across Years 5–12, including collaboration with Stage 3 teachers following the introduction of Stage 3 in 2027;</li> <li>a minimum of three years' experience at Proficient Teacher accreditation;</li> <li>demonstrated success in improving student engagement, achievement and learning outcomes;</li> <li>the ability to lead or support faculty initiatives that strengthen teaching practice, curriculum innovation and continuous improvement;</li> <li>the capacity to support curriculum leadership within the TAS Faculty while contributing to whole-College learning priorities;</li> <li>strong collaborative leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills;</li> <li>the ability to use research, evidence and student learning data to inform teaching practice, curriculum development and faculty improvement;</li> <li>a sound understanding of, and commitment to, the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers;</li> <li>highly developed skills in integrating contemporary technologies into teaching and learning;</li> <li>the capacity to coach, mentor and support colleagues through collaboration, professional dialogue and the sharing of exemplary practice;</li> <li>excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;</li> <li>an approachable, collaborative and emotionally intelligent leadership style;</li> <li>current NESA accreditation and approval to teach in NSW;</li> <li>a current NSW Working with Children Check;</li> <li>a demonstrated commitment to child safeguarding principles;
