<p><strong>Help build a new Catholic school from the ground up.</strong></p> <p>An exciting opportunity exists for an outstanding educational leader to join <strong>St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, Drouin&nbsp;</strong>as our inaugural <strong>Deputy Principal.</strong></p> <p>Opening in <strong>January 2027</strong>, St Oscar Romero is a brand-new Catholic primary school located in the growing Ferntree Ridge estate in Drouin. This is a rare opportunity to help establish the culture, vision and educational excellence of a new learning community from its very beginning.</p> <p>Working alongside the Foundation Principal, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping a school where faith, learning and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.</p> <p><strong>About St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School</strong></p> <p>Stage One of the school is currently under construction and includes contemporary administration and learning spaces, covered hard courts and an oval. The school will welcome approximately <strong>100 students</strong> in its first year, with long-term enrolment projected to grow to around <strong>350 students</strong>.</p> <p>As the <strong>41st Catholic primary school in the Diocese of Sale</strong> and the second primary school within <strong>St Ita's Parish</strong>, St Oscar Romero will provide high-quality Catholic education to families in the southern area of the parish.</p> <p>Named after St Oscar Romero, Archbishop of San Salvador, the school draws inspiration from his enduring witness to faith, justice, compassion and service.
