Radford College is seeking an experienced Creative Arts and Media Assistant to provide day-to-day support to the Creative Arts Department, including preparing materials and equipment for lessons and ordering and maintaining materials

<p>Suitably experienced and qualified applicants are invited to apply for a permanent part-time Creative and Media Arts Assistant role in the Creative Arts Department. This position is required to work 4 days per week, term-time only.</p>

<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>The Creative and Media Arts Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day support provided to teachers within the Creative Arts Department including ordering and preparation of materials and equipment for practical lessons, maintaining safe and ordered learning spaces, and display of art works. Demonstrating a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently. Applicants must be able to work cooperatively in a team specifically supporting the Head of Department and teachers. </p>

<li>Demonstrate experience with, or a willingness to learn, the ordering, preparation and management of creative arts materials, resources and media production equipment for practical lessons and school events. </li>
<li>Demonstrate competency in the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to maintain accurate records, inventories and documentation. </li>
<li>Possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain orderly learning spaces and ensure resources are available when required. </li>
<li>Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. </li>
<li>Communicate effectively and work cooperatively within a team, providing professional support to the Head of Creative Arts and teaching staff. </li>

<li>Support the preparation, maintenance and safe operation of creative arts learning spaces, ensuring materials, equipment and displays are organised and maintained in accordance with WHS requirements. </li>

<li>Be reliable, punctual and flexible in supporting the varied operational needs of the Creative Arts Department. </li>
<li>Be willing to provide support for College events and productions, including occasional work outside normal business hours, with time in lieu provided. </li>

<li>Experience in the Creative Arts (for example, visual arts mediums, photography, film, digital art, media)</li>
