<p><strong>Working with Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga,</strong></p> <p><a href="https://ww.catholic.edu.au/" rel="nofollow">Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga</a> (CEDWW) serves 24 primary schools, five secondary colleges and two boarding facilities across the Riverina and South West NSW.</p> <p>Our schools are communities of Welcome, Faith, Service and Learning, where every student is known, valued and supported to thrive.</p> <p>We invest in our people through professional learning, career development and opportunities to make a meaningful impact across our schools.</p> <p><strong>School Improvement Officer – Student Engagement &amp; Wellbeing</strong></p> <p>Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga is seeking an experienced educational leader to join our School Improvement Services Team in a role that will shape student wellbeing, engagement and inclusion across our Catholic school communities.</p> <p>Reporting to the Head of Pastoral Care, you will provide strategic leadership and expert support to principals, school leaders and teachers, helping schools create learning environments where every student can thrive.</p> <p>Working across the Diocese, you will lead the implementation of evidence-informed wellbeing initiatives, strengthen professional capability through coaching and professional learning, and support schools in responding to complex student needs.</p> <p>Position Description attached.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the implementation and ongoing development of system-wide student wellbeing initiatives.</li> <li>Provide expert advice and support to principals and leadership teams on complex student matters.</li> <li>Oversee counselling services and wellbeing programs across the Diocese.</li> <li>Develop and deliver professional learning focused on student wellbeing, engagement and mental health.</li> <li>Lead policy development and continuous improvement in wellbeing and pastoral care.</li> <li>Support schools through coaching, mentoring and collaborative problem-solving.</li> <li>Analyse wellbeing and engagement data to inform strategic decision-making.</li> <li>Work collaboratively across the School Improvement Services Team and with external education partners.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You are an experienced teacher and educational leader with a strong background in student wellbeing, pastoral care and inclusive education.
