Highly<br> relational staff members foster a positive workplace environment where wellbeing and support is prioritised and modelled across all departments, under the leadership of a committed and engaged Executive Team.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the above position to commence Term 4, 2026 or sooner.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>The Lead Teacher Learning Support - Secondary will:</p> <ul> <li>In consultation with teachers, prepare individual education plans (IEPs) for students with disability and additional needs and monitor their effective implementation.</li> <li>Provide advice and support to teachers on matters related to specific disabilities.</li> <li>Support teachers and monitor the accuracy of the NCCD reporting process.&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee the implementation of specific learning support programs such as MACQLIT and STAMS for students with disability and additional needs.</li> <li>Oversee disability provision determinations and timetable for internal and external examination-based assessments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee the collaborative planning process to determine Life Skills placement and its implementation.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support students individually and in groups.</li> <li>Contribute to partnerships with parents of students with disability and allied health professionals.</li> <li>Work collaboratively to ensure inclusion, access and participation to maximise learning outcomes for students with disability and additional needs.</li> <li>Plan for and oversee the work, timetable and wellbeing of the Secondary Teachers’ Aide team.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;Criteria:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>NESA Teacher Accreditation and valid WWCC.</li> <li>Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, teachers and parents.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with students with disability and additional needs.&nbsp;</li> <li>A comprehensive understanding of the DDA, DSE, NCCD, and IEPs.</li> <li>Commitment to and passion for excellence in Christian education.</li> <li>Effective time management, organisation and planning skills.</li> <li>Specific qualification/s in learning support preferred.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential:</strong></p> <p><strong>The successful candidate will be a committed Christian, actively involved in their local Protestant Christian church and be able to provide a written reference from their current church minister.</strong></p> <p>If you would like further information about this exciting opportunity, please contact Liz Day on 9644 5144 or email&nbsp;<a href="mailto:lday@rpcs.nsw.edu.au?subject=Lead%20Teacher%20-%20Learning%20Support%20%20%28Full%20or%20Part-time%29%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29" rel="nofollow">lday@rpcs.nsw.edu.au</a>.</p> <p><strong>Closing date: Friday, 11 September, 2026</strong></p>
