We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our highly dedicated and experienced TAS Team for Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027.<br><br><strong>About You</strong><br><br> As a <strong>Technological and Applied Studies Teacher</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br> This position requires an educator who is innovative, future focused and has a passion for working collaboratively. The successful applicant will have the capacity to teach across the Technology and Applied Studies syllabus, including the Mandatory Technology course, Textiles and Design and Technology.<br><br><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>support the mission and ethos of the Catholic School in the Clarion and Franciscan traditions</li> <li>show highly developed interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>use creative and innovative teaching practices to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity and academic rigor</li> <li>exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and show the ability to integrate these to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li> <li>be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively</li> <li>be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning</li> <li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li> <li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li> <li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li> <li>demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Stage 4 Technology and Textiles and Design &amp; Design and Technology over stage 5 &amp; 6</li> <li>be confident in the use of Adobe Creative Suite</li> <li>provide evidence of a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong><br><br> Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
