Wenona is seeking an outstanding candidate to become our Head of PDHPE. This is an exciting chance to lead, support and strengthen our thriving PDHPE program.

<p>Wenona is seeking an outstanding candidate to become our <strong>Head of PDHPE</strong>. This is an excellent opportunity to lead our PDHPE department and to support and collaborate with staff within the PDHPE department. This position will help develop and support our thriving PDHPE department and the curriculum offered to our students.</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead a team of high performing PDHPE teachers with full oversight of all teaching and learning aspects for students.</li> <li>Work with a broad range of stakeholders, including students, teachers and parents to meet individual student learning needs.</li> <li>Demonstrate a commitment to wellbeing and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students.</li> <li>Engaging in professional learning, including contributing to the broader education community.</li> <li>Create, plan and implement academic programs.</li> </ul> <p>This is a full time permanent teaching position with an initial five-year appointment to the position of Head of PDHPE, commencing in Term 1, 2027.</p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a leader who can demonstrate ongoing experience in leading a team of teaching staff as well as in curriculum development in a PDHPE department. You will display leadership qualities by guiding our PDHPE department and students through the academic program, whilst embedding our school’s values of courage, strength, grace, wisdom, and kindness.
