We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Property Team as a General Hand.

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Property Team as a General Hand.</p>
<p>This is an entry-level opportunity that does not require formal trade qualifications or extensive experience. We are however looking for someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong commitment to supporting the day-to-day operations of the school.</p>
<p>The role is all year round (including during school holidays when the role is at its busiest) and from Monday to Friday. Occasional additional hours or weekend work may be required with sufficient notice, and annual leave can be taken throughout the year during school terms.</p>
<p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with general maintenance and manual labour tasks, such as moving furniture and equipment between classrooms and meeting areas</li>
<li>Set-up and remove event or function equipment</li>
<li>Undertake and own daily swimming pool inspections, water quality testing, and pool plant monitoring</li>
<li>Coordinate the school’s mail and packages delivery process</li>
<li>Coordinate the movement of goods and internal deliveries between departments</li>
<li>Assisting with the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, students, parents, and visitors during student drop-off and pick-up periods</li>
<li>Attend relevant training courses as required to perform maintenance tasks in a safe manner</li>
<li>Assist other workers (including subcontractors and suppliers) to complete repairs as needed, and learn new skills and techniques in the process!</li>

<ul>

<li>Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>High levels of reliability, punctuality and dependability</li>
<li>Physical fitness and capable of undertaking manual handling, event setup, and general operational duties</li>
<li>Ability to work professionally in a busy school environment, with high levels of personal presentation</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions and work safely within established procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work unsupervised</li>
<li>Current First Aid and CPR Certificates</li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).</li>
</ul>
<p><i>Experience in facilities, grounds, maintenance, hospitality, retail, customer service, warehousing, or similar practical environments, and a current Driver’s License would be well regarded.</i></p>
<p>Full training will be provided for many aspects of the role, including pool testing, campus deliveries, event support,and general facilities duties.</p>
