Through our extensive Co-curricular Sports Program, students develop resilience, teamwork, leadership and a commitment to excellence.</p> <p><br> We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate <strong>Cricket, Baseball, Basketball, Swimming and Touch Football Coaches</strong> to join our Summer Sport Program in September 2026. Whether you're an experienced coach or a former player looking to inspire the next generation, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact on young people while working within a highly regarded independent school sporting program.</p> <p><br><strong>These are Casual positions commencing in September 2026.</strong></p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Working with students from Years 5–12, coaches play an important role in developing skills, fostering teamwork and helping students build confidence through sport.</p> <p>You will deliver training sessions, support students on game days and contribute to a positive sporting culture that reflects the values of St Patrick's College.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>A working understanding of, and commitment to, the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.</li> <li>Experience coaching or playing Cricket, Baseball, Basketball, Swimming or Touch Football.</li> <li>A passion for developing young people through sport.</li> <li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills.</li> <li>The ability to motivate and engage students.</li> <li>A current Driver Licence and access to a vehicle.</li> <li>Availability to work 2 x mornings or afternoons(weekdays) and Saturdays.</li> <li>A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).</li> <li>Current First Aid certification.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Highly Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coaching qualifications or accreditation.</li> <li>Previous school or representative coaching experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <p>At St Patrick's College, you'll join a vibrant sporting community where coaches play an important role in shaping the student experience.</p> <p><strong>We offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The opportunity to mentor and inspire young people through sport.</li> <li>A well-established and highly regarded sporting program.</li> <li>Access to excellent facilities and resources.</li> <li>A supportive and collaborative coaching environment.</li> <li>The chance to be part of a values-driven Catholic school community.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Applications close Friday 7 August 2026</strong></p> <p><i>St Patrick's College is a child safe organisation with zero tolerance for harm to children.
