This full-time maximum term opportunity is available from <i>July to September 2026</i> will see you deliver engaging French language learning experiences. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will inspire students to achieve their potential while fostering a safe, inclusive and dynamic learning environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver engaging French lessons aligned to the learning needs of Primary Years students.&nbsp;</li> <li>Foster a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment that supports student success.</li> <li>Monitor, assess and report on student learning and language development.</li> <li>Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of students through restorative and student-centred practices.&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to the broader life of the College through co-curricular, supervisory and team-based activities.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant teaching qualifications with French language expertise and current Queensland College of Teachers registration.&nbsp;</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary language teaching practices, curriculum design and student assessment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience teaching French, with knowledge of effective language acquisition and differentiated learning practices.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Highly developed organisational and time management skills.</li> <li>A collaborative approach and commitment to fostering positive relationships across the College community.</li> <li>Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>Established in 2008, St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is a growing Kindergarten to Year 12 Co-Educational Day School of the Lutheran Church located in the master planned city of Springfield.
