Together, academic staff and corporate staff provide an outstanding educational environment for students to grow and flourish.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;About the Role</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Australian Rules Football Head Coach to join our Sport Department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape a dynamic program, driving success both on and off the field while making a meaningful impact on student development.</p> <p>The Head Coach will drive the development of the Australian Rules program, fostering an inclusive team culture and delivering high-quality coaching, while collaborating with stakeholders and modelling the College’s values to ensure exceptional program delivery.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver effective training sessions and game strategies, supporting athlete skill development and performance progression</li> <li>Foster a positive, inclusive team environment that promotes enjoyment, discipline, respect, and wellbeing</li> <li>Lead and coordinate the program across the season, including training schedules, competition preparation, and resource management</li> <li>Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, staff, and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and representing the program</li> <li>Maintain up-to-date coaching knowledge and support the development of assistant coaches</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>A relevant coaching qualification and/or significant experience in a similar sports leadership role</li> <li>Demonstrated experience coaching and developing athletes, with strong sport-specific knowledge</li> <li>Proven ability to manage competing priorities, with strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents</li> <li>Experience working collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals and deliver outcomes</li> <li>Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and alignment with the College’s values and expected standards of conduct</li> <li>Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p> <p>To apply, please submit your cover letter and curriculum vitae, demonstrating how you meet the requirements of the Position Description by clicking on the Apply button provided.
