St Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School, opening in Clyde in January 2027, seeks a faith-filled and dynamic Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching. This three-year fixed-term leadership role (with ongoing teaching employment) will support the Principal in leading learning, teaching, Catholic identity and school improvement. <p><strong>Shape the future of a brand-new Catholic school</strong></p>
<p>St Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School is an exciting new Catholic primary school currently under construction in the Cardinia Creek South Precinct, Clyde. Opening in January 2027, the school will welcome approximately 120 Foundation to Year 6 students in its inaugural year, with projected enrolments of around 500 students as the community grows.</p>
<p>As the newest primary school within the Diocese of Sale and part of St Thomas the Apostle Parish, this is a rare opportunity to join a founding leadership team and help establish a vibrant learning community from the very beginning.</p>

<p>We are seeking an outstanding and faith-filled <strong>Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching</strong> who is passionate about Catholic education and committed to excellence in teaching and learning.</p>
<p> Working closely with the Principal, you will play a key leadership role in establishing the culture, vision and educational direction of our new school. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader who is aspiring to principalship and is excited by the challenge of creating a thriving school community from its foundation.</p>
<p>The Deputy Principal will support the Principal in leading strategic school improvement and ensuring outstanding learning outcomes for every student.</p>

<p><strong>Employment Details</strong></p>
<p><strong>Position:</strong> Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching</p>
<p><strong>Tenure:</strong> Three-year fixed-term leadership appointment, underpinned by an ongoing teaching position, with the possibility of a second period of appointment.</p>
<p><strong>Classification:</strong> Primary Deputy Principal Level 1 (1–199 students) in accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> $128,908 – $139,880 plus applicable superannuation.</p>
<p><strong>Commencement:</strong> 27 January 2027.</p>
