Temple Christian College is seeking a highly organised Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for accounts payable, purchasing administration, supplier management and other finance support functions that contribute to the effective operation of the College. We are looking for a detail-focused professional with excellent communication skills who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering high-quality customer service. Full-time preferred; part-time applications are welcome.

<p><strong>Mile End Campus</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) to join our Finance and Administration Team as soon as possible. This position plays an important role in supporting the College's financial operations, working closely with the Business Manager and Finance Team, you will contribute to the efficient delivery of finance services that support staff, suppliers and the wider College community.</p> <ul> <li>Full-time preferred | 37.5 hours per week | 48 weeks per year</li> <li>Part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.</li> <li>Support and Administration Staff - Grade 3</li> <li>Be part of a dedicated and supportive Christian workplace</li> </ul> <p><strong>About us</strong></p> <p>Temple Christian College is a member of Adelaide Christian Schools and educates students from Year 7 to 12. Acting as an extension of the home and the Christian church, our passion is to provide a safe and encouraging Christian community to prepare our students for life beyond the classroom.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>In this role, you will be responsible for accounts payable processing, purchasing administration, corporate card management, supplier relationships and supporting a range of finance functions across the College.</p> <p><strong>Duties will include, but are not limited to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process supplier invoices and payments across the College.</li> <li>Maintain supplier records and reconcile accounts.</li> <li>Support purchasing and procurement procedures.</li> <li>Coordinate corporate card administration and reconciliations.</li> <li>Assist with asset register maintenance and finance administration.</li> <li>Provide finance support to the Parents &amp; Friends Association and College stakeholders.</li> <li>Deliver excellent customer service to staff and suppliers.</li> </ul> <p>For a detailed position description including duties, responsibilities, and position requirements, please view the Job and Person Description available on our website&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://www.tcc.sa.edu.au/templechristiancollege-mile-end-about-us/employment" rel="nofollow">https://www.tcc.sa.edu.au/templechristiancollege-mile-end-about-us/employment</a></p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be committed to Christ and Christian education.</li> <li>Have experience in Accounts Payable or finance administration.</li> <li>Have strong Excel and administration skills.</li> <li>Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li> <li>High level of interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.</li> <li>Be able to prioritise, demonstrate initiative and take a proactive and flexible approach to tasks, while working as an effective member of a collaborative team.</li> <li>Have (or be willing to obtain) <ul> <li>a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)</li> <li>Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse &amp; Neglect - EC (RRHAN-EC)</li> </ul></li> <li>Be residing in and have entitlements to work in South Australia</li> </ul> <p>Experience with financial systems such as Xero, TASS, Alii or similar platforms will be highly regarded.</p> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>Applications are invited from committed Christians who are active in church fellowship and suitably qualified to fulfil this position.</p> <p>Applications should include:</p> <ul> <li>Cover Letter</li> <li>Resume</li> <li><strong>Referee contact details.
