Edmund Rice College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, highly motivated and skilled Accounts Payable Administrator to join the Finance team in Term 3, 2026.

Strongly inclusive, the College prides itself on its diversity as it welcomes students from all backgrounds and cultures.</p> <p>For further information about Edmund Rice College, please visit our website - www.edmundricecollege.nsw.edu.au</p> <p><strong><u>The Role&nbsp;</u></strong></p> <p>Edmund Rice College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, highly motivated and skilled Accounts Payable Administrator to join the Finance Team during Term 3, 2026.</p> <p>Reporting to the Business Manager through the College Accountant, the Accounts Payable Administrator will reinforce and promote the financial processes at Edmund Rice College (ERC).</p> <p>The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinating all aspects of the accounts payable process and undertaking a range of additional financial tasks to support the monthly financial reporting processes at ERC.</li> <li>Acting as the single point of contact for all aspects of the accounts payable function, and investigates and resolves accounts payable issues and discrepancies.</li> <li>Ensuring all school staff are trained and educated in the online ordering and authorisations process through Alii.</li> <li>Providing coverage for finance team staff as required when the substantive position holders are on leave or during peak periods throughout the year.</li> </ul> <p>This role collaboratively supports a range of internal and external stakeholders with financial management, and may be required to work an extra 2 weeks a year during non term time to assist during busy periods.</p> <p><strong><u>About You</u></strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will be a highly capable support staff member who is willing to support the overall coordination of financial management and processes on behalf of the College.</p> <p>To be considered for this position, you must be a highly dedicated professional who meets the following criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant experience in an Accounts Payable role, using AP software /system.&nbsp;</li> <li>Hold relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping.</li> <li>Demonstrable accounting / bookkeeping skills and experience.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Proven organisational skills, including multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.</li> <li>High attention to detail.</li> <li>Flexible and with the ability to support multiple stakeholders.</li> <li>High level of expertise in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.</li> <li>High ethical standards, confidentiality and integrity.</li> <li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check.</li> <li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles.</li> <li>An understanding and commitment to the Mission and Ethos of the College in the Edmund Rice tradition.</li> </ul> <p>For further information about the role, please view the attached position description.</p> <p><strong><u>The Process</u></strong></p> <p>Applications (including CV and covering letter) to be submitted through&nbsp;<a href="https://www.edmundricecollege.nsw.edu.au/our-college/employment/" rel="nofollow">www.edmundricecollege.nsw.edu.au</a> by 7 August 2026.</p> <p>The appointment of a successful candidate is conditional and based on the successful completion of all pre-employment screening, including child-related employment and reference checks.</p>
