<p>At the IGS Out of School Hours Care our dedicated and passionate team of educators love what they do - creating a welcoming place where everyone belongs and children build their social and emotional skills through a vibrant recreational leisure program in our safe and supportive setting.</p>
<p>We are seeking to appoint part time OSHC Educators to join our dynamic program offering After School Care and Vacation Care during term break.</p>
<p>We are a Child Safe organisation with strong practices that place the protection and rights of children as paramount.</p>

<p><strong>Essential criteria:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Availability to work 1pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Additional hours available in the term break (Vacation Care). </li>
<li>Demonstrated integrity and attitudes consistent with child‑safe values</li>
<li>Sound understanding of child safety responsibilities, including current knowledge of relevant child protection legislation and the Child Safe Standards</li>
<li>Understanding of and willingness to fulfil mandatory reporting and escalation obligations in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures</li>
<li>National Child Safety Training certificate of completion</li>
<li>Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications or willingness to obtain</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of early childhood education and care legislation and regulations, including the EYLF and NQS</li>
<li>Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their families</li>
<li>Commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of child protection obligations and professional responsibilities</li>
<li>Self‑motivation, initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team</li>
<li>Sound ICT skills</li>
<li>Not subject to any restrictions or prohibitions, including suspension, supervision or prohibition notices, or enforceable undertakings.</li>
