BGOSH Educator

We are looking for an inspired BGOSH Educator to join our team at Blue Gum (Blue Gum Out of School Hours). This position would suit an early career early childhood teacher or a Diploma trained early childhood educator. In this role, you would work with us 2pm-6pm on Mondays to Fridays during term times, and 8-4pm on Mondays to Fridays during the School Holiday periods.
<p><a href="https://bluegum.nsw.edu.au/" rel="nofollow"><strong>Blue Gum Community School</strong></a><strong> </strong>is a small, community-based, not-for-profit Preschool and Primary School, positioned in the beautifully adapted and heritage listed home and gardens of Mount Errington, walking-distance from Hornsby centre. </p>
<p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated early childhood educator to join our Blue Gum Out of School Hours (BGOSH) team.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for an early career Early Childhood Teacher or a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about creating engaging, high-quality experiences for preschool and school-aged children.</p>
<p>The position involves working:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Term time:</strong> Monday to Friday, 2pm – 6pm or 11am - 6pm</li>
<li><strong>School holidays:</strong> Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm*</li>
</ul>
<p>*The BGOSH program closes for 4 weeks between mid December and mid January each year.</p>
<p><strong>As such, we're wondering...</strong></p>

<li>Are you a passionate Early Childhood Educator (Cert111/Diploma/ECT), or a currently enrolled Early Childhood student at university, who would like to join our story?</li>
<li>Do you want to work with a small team of professional, respectful, thoughtful teachers who are working together, with intention, to offer an exceptional experience in BGOSH, for adults and students alike?</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>If so, you might be looking for us!</strong></p>
<p>In this role, you will have the chance to work with others in the team, to plan, program, and interact with our students (3-9yrs) as we co-design our days with them, in the BGOSH Program.</p>
<p>Valued, but not required, is an interest in the influence of the Educational Project in Reggio Emilia. </p>

<li>A love of being with children and learning alongside them!</li>
<li>An ability to work afternoons until 6pm during term<strong> </strong>times and 8-4pm during school holiday periods.</li>
