This is a pivotal leadership role within the College, perfect for a professional who thrives on building community spirit, fostering elite and inclusive sporting pathways, and mentoring both staff and students.</p> <p>As a key leader, you will champion our Christian vision and values, integrating them directly into the sporting life of the College while utilizing our Building Learning Power teaching framework.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Directly responsible to the Director of Student Wellbeing, your leadership will encompass:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Program Leadership:</strong> Oversee the K-12 sporting calendar, manage event compliance (risk assessments, transport), and direct the Sports Administrator.</li> <li><strong>Carnivals &amp; Weekly Sport:</strong> Lead major Senior and Junior School carnivals (Swimming, Cross Country, Athletics) and coordinate secondary weekly sports options.</li> <li><strong>Representative Pathways:</strong> Represent the College at SASSA and AICES forums, managing student selections and communication with parents.</li> <li><strong>Community Culture:</strong> Elevate school spirit, celebrate student achievements, and source/deploy qualified coaches.</li> <li><strong>Pastoral Care:</strong> Work with wellbeing staff to help students successfully balance academic and sporting demands.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will bring:</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;An active and sensitive commitment to the Christian gospel, its values, and its place in an independent Anglican school context (with active involvement in a local church).</li> <li>A recognized teaching degree (e.g., Bachelor of Education or post-graduate teaching qualifications) and eligibility for accreditation with the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA).</li> <li>&nbsp;A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).</li> <li>&nbsp;Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage busy daily operations and work effectively under time pressure.</li> <li>The capacity to liaise warmly and professionally with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders (parents, students, local sports vendors, SASSA/AICES officials).</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Leadership Recognition:</strong> A Coordinator Level 2 position with time allowance to ensure you have the space to lead effectively.</li> <li><strong>Collaborative Culture:</strong> Work alongside a dedicated, supportive Senior Teaching Team.</li> <li><strong>Professional Growth:</strong> Opportunities to innovate within a developing role and shape the future of K-12 sport on the South Coast.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p> <p>If you are ready to lead our sporting program with energy, excellence, and purpose, we would love to hear from you.</p> <p>Please submit your application, including a&nbsp;<strong>cover letter addressing the selection criteria</strong> and your current resume, via our College employment portal.</p> <p><strong>Application Details:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Closing Date: Sunday 26 July 2026</li> <li><strong>Standard Hours:</strong> 8:15 am – 3:45 pm (As a member of the Senior Teaching Team)</li> <li><strong>Enquiries:</strong> Please contact the Principal’s office for a confidential discussion.</li> </ul>
