Temporary Relief Teacher, to replace absent teachers. Their primary responsibilities are to deliver the curriculum material provided by the absent teacher and to provide a duty of care to the students in the absence of the regular teacher. </p>

<p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 5 years classroom teaching experience </li>
<li>A university degree in the relevant faculty discipline or equivalent with associated qualifications in Education</li>
<li>Current First Aid</li>
<li>NESA Teacher Registration</li>
<li>Current NSW Working With Children Check</li>
<li>An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education </li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner </li>
<li>Appropriate qualifications </li>
<li>A demonstrated capacity to align practice with a whole-school pastoral care model of student support </li>
<li>An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge </li>
<li>An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy </li>
<li>An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture </li>
<li>Appropriate qualifications and experience in the position advertised </li>
<li>An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge </li>
<li>An informed understanding of the impact of teaching strategies on student learning </li>
<li>An informed understanding of inclusive, learner centred pedagogy </li>
<li>An informed understanding of the role of formative and summative assessment in providing feedback that advances student learning </li>

<li>Knowledge of relevant NESA curriculum documentation, practices and procedures</li>
<li>Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aCbIP5U7RUVpmXSRFNJjPniiJAxX9Kc7W7RNmEFGV8s/edit?usp=sharing" rel="nofollow">Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools</a>, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.</li>
