Join a collaborative teaching team and share your passion for teaching Japanese by delivering engaging, purposeful lessons that drive strong student outcomes.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Japanese curriculum and the College's teaching framework.</li> <li>Identify diverse learning needs and plan experiences that enable all students to achieve success.</li> <li>Assess and provide both positive and critical feedback that monitors progress and gives clear, actionable steps for improvement.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records and reporting to be able to provide students and parents with detail and informative written and oral reports.</li> <li>Support wellbeing and manage behaviour by building rapport, maintaining an orderly classroom, and following up concerns in line with policy.</li> <li>Contribute to the College community and professional practice through teamwork, cocurricular involvement, administration, supervision and ongoing development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>A relevant Graduate Teaching qualification and current Queensland Teacher Registration.</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum development and implementation, and contemporary educational issues.</li> <li>Proven classroom teaching capability, including effective planning, delivery, classroom management, assessment and reporting.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Highly developed organisational and time management skills.</li> <li>Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church located on 52 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD.
