<p><strong>Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a passionate and dedicated <strong>Co-Educator</strong> to join our Early Years and Junior School team.</p>
<p>This role is well-suited to educators who have experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges. A strong understanding of structured interventions and co-regulation approaches is essential.</p>
<ul>
<li>Full-time contract position for Semester 2 with opportunity for continuing work beyond 2026.</li>
<li>Commencing July 2026</li>
<li>39 term weeks plus 4 weeks paid annual leave (taken following Term 4)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Position Purpose</strong></p>
<p>Working under the direction of the Inclusive Education Leader and in partnership with Teachers, Co-Educators support the delivery of inclusive, engaging learning experiences. The role focuses on fostering student growth, independence, and wellbeing through targeted support, relational connection, and evidence-based practices.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Teachers to implement inclusive and differentiated learning programs</li>
<li>Provide targeted support to students in 1:1 and small group settings</li>
<li>Implement structured learning interventions and adjust strategies based on student needs</li>
<li>Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural regulation, including the use of co-regulation strategies and proactive support approaches</li>
<li>Assist with assessment tasks and maintain accurate, confidential records</li>
<li>Support students with disabilities, including personal care where required</li>
<li>Contribute positively to a collaborative team culture</li>
<li>Supervise students during yard duty, excursions, and school events</li>
<li>Assist with classroom organisation, preparation, and administrative tasks</li>
</ul>

<li>A personal commitment to the King’s Vision, Mission and Values underpinning the delivery of a Christian- based education to students.</li>
<li>Proven experience supporting students with additional needs, including implementation of targeted interventions and behaviour support strategies.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience using co-regulation approaches to support student engagement, emotional regulation and readiness to learn.</li>
<li>Experience working 1:1 and/or in small groups requiring academic, social and emotional support.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of inclusive education, differentiation and adjustments.</li>
<li>Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and child development</li>
<li>Ability to build respectful, positive relationships with students, staff, and families</li>
<li>A commitment to fostering student independence and resilience</li>
<li>High levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications Required:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>An education-related Certificate III or Diploma Qualification (or higher) is highly desirable</li>
<li>RRHAN-EC Certification & Protective Practices training</li>
<li>Current Working with Children's Check.</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of child development and well-being needs in educational contexts.</li>
