We are seeking a passionate and innovative Food Technologies Teacher to join our Middle School team at the Wynn Vale campus.

Staff are supported in their professional and personal development within a community committed to excellence and care.</p> <p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a passionate and innovative Food Technologies Teacher to join our Middle School team at the Wynn Vale campus.</p> <p>This is a 0.4 FTE contract position (2 days per week), commencing 20 July 2026.</p> <p>The role contributes to the delivery of engaging, curriculum-aligned learning supporting students to develop practical food skills, an understanding of nutrition and food systems, and the ability to think critically and creatively.</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <p>A personal commitment to King's Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School Community is essential to this role.</p> <p>The role also requires:</p> <ul> <li>An in-depth understanding of the Australian Curriculum standards specific to Technologies, food specialisations and production.</li> <li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum</li> <li>Create engaging, student-centred learning experiences</li> <li>Foster safe and supportive classroom environments, including safe food handling practices</li> <li>Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families</li> <li>Be committed to ongoing professional growth</li> </ul> <p>Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Education (or higher), be eligible for teacher registration in South Australia, and have current RRHAN and Working With Children Check clearances.</p> <p>If you are passionate about making a lasting impact on students and their learning journey, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>Applications close 4pm Monday 29 June 2026.
