Aquinas College wishes to employ a suitably experienced and qualified IT Technician to provide efficient and high quality assistance and support to the College’s Information Technology (IT) assets and infrastructure.

<p>Aquinas College wishes to employ a suitably experienced and qualified&nbsp; IT Technician to provide efficient and high quality assistance and support to the College’s Information Technology (IT) assets and infrastructure.<br><br><i><strong>This position will be a full time, ongoing opportunity.</strong></i><br><br> Reporting to the IT Operations Manager and Director of Technology, the preferred candidate will combine their hands-on technical expertise with proactive problem solving skills to ensure Level 1 &amp; 2 help desk queries are resolved efficiently and our systems remain secure and maintained.<br><br><strong>The successful applicant will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>relevant qualifications and a proven experience in a similar Information Technology position</li> <li>experience in ITIL Certification and workflows (including Incident, Major Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Knowledge Management)</li> <li>demonstrated experience in L1–L2 support skills with IT hardware, software, communications and AV systems</li> <li>excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with a variety customers (students, staff, contractors etc)</li> <li>the ability to work successfully within a team</li> <li>experience working in a school setting would be highly regarded (but not essential)</li> <li>a current working with children's check and police check (or be prepared to obtain one)</li> <li>a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children</li> <li>relevant permissions to work in Australia</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will be appointed following a salary assessment according to the&nbsp;Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement (CEMEA) 2022.</p> <p><br><strong>Aquinas College promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</strong><br><br> For a copy of the <strong>Position Description - IT Technician</strong> click<a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1f8YSn1bz7AYrfUd0uJF0x6cEaj71-JYd/view?usp=sharing" rel="nofollow"><u> here.</u></a><br><br> To apply - please provide a letter of application and current CV, and certified copies of qualifications, which must be uploaded through the link below this advertisement, ‘Application- Non Teaching Position’.<br><br> Applications close at 9.00am on <strong>Monday 06 July 2026 </strong>and should be addressed to:</p> <p>Mr David Broadbent<br><strong>Principal</strong><br> Aquinas College<br> Ringwood 3134</p>
