The successful candidate must have a commitment to academic excellence and be able to demonstrate their capacity to deliver a rigorous academic program.</p> <p><strong>Success Criteria:</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>Be able to contribute to the strong academic culture of the school environment</li> <li>Develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning programs</li> <li>Assess, monitor and report on student progress in accordance with College policy</li> <li>Foster a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment</li> <li>Contribute to faculty planning, curriculum development and co-curricular activities</li> <li>Uphold the College’s child protection, wellbeing and WHS obligations</li> <li>Immerse themselves in the culture and program of the College which may extend beyond the school day, for instance on a small number of Saturdays for Sport&nbsp;</li> <li>Undertake other duties as required by the Head of College or her delegate</li> </ul> <p><strong>The successful candidate will possess the following core competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and History.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to student success.</li> <li>High emotional intelligence and a positive, professional approach.</li> <li>High expectations for student learning and behaviour.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.</li> <li>Willing to undergo a bi-annual National Criminal Check</li> <li>Willingness to support the Orthodox ethos and values of the College</li> </ul> <p><strong>The successful applicant will be required to hold:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A relevant tertiary qualification.</li> <li>A current and valid work rights in Australia.</li> <li>A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)&nbsp;</li> <li>eTAMS teacher accreditation&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience teaching Serbian at secondary level</li> <li>Strong understanding of the NSW curriculum and assessment requirements<br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><br> &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
