Your collegial and collaborative nature will be evident in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to:</p> <p><br> Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning<br> Provide feedback and professional support to improve individual student learning outcomes<br> Contribute to the development of a strong learning community and culture<br> Contribute to Pastoral Care and Co-curricular programs of the School<br> Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience<br> Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally with experience teaching middle school science, and Biology or Chemistry for SACE<br> High level of ICT skills, knowledge and effective incorporation into classroom practice<br> To be working at least at proficient level, as described by the teacher professional standards, striving towards working at the HALT descriptors<br> Regular and up to date professional knowledge and learning<br> The successful candidate will present as an enthusiastic, resilient and optimistic educator who is committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvement. You will have a high level of organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to be flexible to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
